These terms apply to the tuition courses and the Clipvara software offered on this website by Satyaki Das, Khardah, Kolkata, West Bengal, India ("I", "me"). By paying for a course or a Clipvara licence you agree to them.
1. Tuition
- Courses are for students in India. Fees, batch dates and the mode of classes are confirmed by email before payment.
- A seat is confirmed only after the full fee for that track is paid.
- Course material, recordings, tests and planners are for the enrolled student's personal use and may not be shared, sold or published.
- Schedules may change for reasons such as holidays or illness; missed classes are rescheduled or provided as recordings.
- Placement outcomes depend on the student's effort and on employers; no job or placement is guaranteed.
2. Clipvara licence
- A Clipvara licence costs ₹3,999 once (inclusive of applicable taxes) and is a lifetime, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for one person to use Clipvara on one Mac at a time. You may move it to another Mac by deactivating it on the old one.
- The licence key is personal. Sharing or publishing it, or using one key on several Macs, may lead to the key being cancelled.
- Clipvara is licensed, not sold. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute it, except as allowed by law. Clipvara includes open-source components that remain under their own licences (listed in the app's notices).
- Updates may be released from time to time; I am not obliged to provide new features.
- Optional AI features use Ollama on your Mac, or Claude with your own Anthropic API key under Anthropic's terms and charges.
- You are responsible for the content you create and for having the rights and consents for anything you record or publish.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay. I do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Prices are in Indian rupees.
4. Refunds
See the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
5. Liability
Clipvara is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid. Keep backups of your videos – I am not liable for lost data.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Kolkata, West Bengal have jurisdiction.
